Altipress 40 Hosiery Kit

• Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD), confirmed with an ABPI Doppler reading of less than 0.8

• Acute or unstable Heart Failure

• Ischaemic Heart Disease (IHD), also called Coronary Artery Disease

• Untreated Cellulitis or Phlebitis of the Lower Limb

Use with caution and only under Medical/Healthcare supervision or advice with the following conditions:

• Diabetes

• Rheumatoid Arthritis

• Heavily exuding or large wounds

• Irregular shaped limb

 

ABPI (Doppler) Measurement

  • More than 0.8 and less than 1.2, the hosiery kit can be applied.
  • Less than 0.8 or more than 1.2, the hosiery kit should be used under strict healthcare professional supervision, only after specialist referral and with extreme caution.

Altiform hosiery

• Heart Failure that despite treatment, still causes significant symptoms e.g. breathlessness

• Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) in legs, also known as Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD)

• Ischaemic Heart Disease (IHD), also called Coronary Artery Disease

• Untreated Cellulitis or Phlebitis in the leg

Use with caution and only under Medical / Healthcare Supervision or advice with the following conditions:

• Diabetes

• Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) in the leg

 

Altiven hosiery

• Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD), confirmed with an ABPI (Doppler) reading of less than 0.5

• Acute or unstable Heart Failure

• Ischaemic Heart Disease (IHD), also called Coronary Artery Disease

• Untreated Cellulitis or Phlebitis of the Lower Limb

• Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)

Use with caution and only under Medical / Healthcare Supervision or advice with the following conditions:

• Diabetes

• Rheumatoid Arthritis

• An ABPI of 0.5-0.8

These patients may require referral to a specialist for advice and additional assessment. Close supervision may be necessary in line with local policies/pathways.
